J.M. DeMatteis is, by any measure, one of the greatest comic book writers of all time. He is responsible for what many believe is the greatest Spider-Man story ever told, Kraven’s Last Hunt, as well as such truly groundbreaking series as Justice League International and Moonshadow. Over the course of his decades-long career, J.M. has written for almost every major comic book title, including Superman, Batman, Captain America, and Dr. Strange, as well as more creator-owned work than probably even he can remember, like Brooklyn Dreams, Blood: A Tale, and Abadazad. If you’ve ever read a J.M. DeMatteis comic and liked it — and chances are you have — then this is one release you do NOT want to miss.

I can't remember when a new publisher came out of the gate with guns blazing this hot… The titles include fantasy, superbeing, apocalyptic western, and Kirby-esque grandeur. And because it's J.M. DeMatteis, he nails them all… this is the deep stuff, the good stuff you reread. Literate, fantastical, charming, scary and thoughtful… This launch gives me a lot of joy for the future of comics, I don't know how else to say it. Reading these books made my heart soar a bit.
